Department Summary

The Management Department of the Ricciardi College of Business seeks qualified instructors for Fall 2017 sections of Management Principles (MGMT 130), Human Resources Management (MGMT 140) and Organizational Behavior (MGMT 303).

Essential Duties

Teach face-to-face undergraduate courses in management fields. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work. Other course management duties as required.
Courses are scheduled as follows:

MGMT 130 (Principles) Mondays 6-8:40 pm
MGMT 140 (HRM) Tuesday/Thursday 8-9:15 am
MGMT 303 (OB) Mondays 3:15 – 5:50 pm

Applicants should possess:
– Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.
– Strong commit to excellence in teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
– Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
– Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.
– Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the department office as requested.
– Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Management or Management Science or a related field with 18 graduate hours in Management or Management Sciences courses from an accredited school

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate teaching experience
