Department Summary

The Ricciardi College of Business’ Master of Business Administration (MBA) program invites qualified candidates to apply for an adjunct teaching position in production and services operations management.

Our MBA program provides the knowledge and skills students need to excel in managerial and executive positions within a wide range of organizations. Designed to accommodate the schedules of professionals in the field, the program allows students to choose from either a full- or part-time option. Led by accomplished faculty members with distinguished academic credentials, as well as extensive business expertise as executives, entrepreneurs and consultants, our MBA program provides a strong foundation in the key disciplines of business and an integrative perspective of how these functions interact.

Essential Duties

Applicants should possess:
- Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.
- Strong commit to excellence in teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
- Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
- Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.
- Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the department office as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.

Required Qualifications

MBA or related graduate degree

Substantial professional experience in field of instruction

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the planning, coordination, and executing of activities that lead to the creation and distribution of goods or services by the firm. Experience with concepts from other fields including cost dynamics, task analyses, and various quantitative methods. Knowledge of capacity planning, task and work flow analysis, manpower management, quality, scheduling, production planning and control, inventory management and customer service and/or assurance.
